Network Group Masterclass 2022

LGBTQ+ network groups are an organisation’s strongest resource for inclusion work. However, leading them can be a demanding role.

This one-day digital masterclass event on 14 July 2022 will provide you with the leadership skills, practical knowledge and supportive network you need to succeed.

This is your chance to join over 100 LGBTQ+ network group members from a range of sectors to learn good practice, build your network and share ways to ensure your network group is a real force for change.

Who is the masterclass for?

This event is open to anyone who holds a leadership position in an LGBTQ+ network, such as the chair or co-chair or a committee member or representative. It is also open to other members of the network who hold specific roles in the group, such as a bi or trans rep. 

If you’re looking to set up an LGBTQ+ network group or resource group then this is the perfect opportunity to learn practical skills to provide a strong foundation.

With the choice of workshops available, the masterclass is relevant for network groups at all stages of development, whether that's those just starting out, or those who are well-established.

How will the masterclass be delivered?

The masterclass will be delivered digitally using Zoom, which can be downloaded for free. It'll be run using a range of different audience engagement tools to support your participation and allow you to connect with the other delegates on the day. 

We will run the masterclass on Thursday 14 July, 10:00 - 17:00. There will be regular breaks held throughout the day and opportunities to ask questions too.

Who will I learn from? 

Content will be delivered by different members of the Stonewall team, we'll also be welcoming guest speakers from a range of organisations, please check back to see our speaker announcements as they come. The Leadership Development workshop in the morning will be facilitated by two senior members of the Stonewall team:

We want our events to be accessible to everyone. All delegates should expect to feel safe, welcome and included at our events.  You can read our access statement here.

These sessions will run via Zoom with up to 130 delegates. There will be smaller break-out rooms for delegates to complete optional discussion activities. Here is a link to the accessibility features Zoom offers. 

We will have members of the team on tech and well-being support throughout the session. There will be a British Sign Language interpreter for all open sessions, and captions will be available.   For more information please read our access statement.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made by 16 June 2022 will be charged at 50% of the invoice total. Cancellations made after this date will be charged at the full invoice total. Cancellations must be made by email to
