Our sector-leading Awards programme, developed by our expert Education & Youth team, allows you to benchmark your school’s LGBTQ+ inclusion against the latest best practice.
An award from us means you can feel confident that your school or college is leading the way in celebrating diversity and supporting LGBTQ+ children and young people to fulfil their potential.
Awards programme benefits:
- Apply any time in your membership year – no fixed submission deadline
- Receive your results eight weeks after submitting your application
- Detailed, bespoke feedback and recommendations for improvement from our team of experts
- Awards are valid for two years, so you know your award reflects the most current best practice
- Stonewall logo and certificate to commemorate your award
Our points-based marking system has transparent and flexible criteria. Submit one application and we’ll grade it at Bronze, Silver or Gold – you don’t need to hold an existing Bronze Award to qualify for Silver or Gold! Only members can apply for our awards. Already hold a Stonewall School & College Champion Award?
You may have already achieved a Stonewall School & College Champion award in the past under our old awards framework. The award you currently hold from us reflects great work and we know the effort you put in to achieve it. Please keep displaying your award certificate and logo if you want to, but you should be aware that our old Stonewall School & College Champion awards will expire in September 2022. New awards come with an updated logo and certificate to show that they’re our most up-to-date awards.
As long as your membership is in date, you’ll be able to apply for one of our new awards. Email us if you’re not sure when your membership expires.
